Synthetic turf is a type of artificial grass that is made of synthetic fibers that mimic the appearance and feel of natural grass. Synthetic turf is used for various applications, such as landscaping, sports fields, playgrounds, balconies, rooftops, and pet areas.
Fibers: The visible part of the synthetic turf that resemble grass blades. They are usually made of polyethylene, polypropylene, or nylon.
Backing: The base layer of the synthetic turf that holds the fibers together. It is usually made of polypropylene or polyester. It may have one or more layers of coating to enhance its strength and stability.
Infill: The material that fills the space between the fibers and the backing. It provides cushioning, support, and stability to the synthetic turf. It also helps to keep the fibers upright and prevent them from matting. The infill can be made of different materials, such as sand, rubber, cork, or organic matter.
